Explore the plants, animals, and landscapes of Hilliard's Bay Provincial Park at your own pace! Discovery Journals are full of fun activities for you to try while camping and at home.
Booth staff are distributing Discovery Journals as each group of campers registers at the campground. If you are camping with more than one child, you can request extra copies so that each child has their own.

Tour the campground and hiking trails in search of edible berries from the forest! When the berries aren't out yet, you can still identify a berry-bearing plant based on its flowers and/or leaves.

Can you identify a constellation? Have you ever seen a shooting star? Camping provides a great opportunity to view the stars and other astronomical events. Rent an Astronomy Discovery Pack and explore the night skies at your own pace. Each backpack includes astronomy binoculars, field guides to the sky, story books, and activity books. You get to keep the activity books when you return the Discovery Pack!
