Join the Park Interpreters and learn about the importance of bugs & birds in the Park and the important work they carry out as pollinators. Even try your hand at catching some bugs, or spotting some birds, and see if you can identify them!
Plus: Create a keepsake to capture your visit to Beaver Lake Provincial Recreation Area or favourite part of the program.
Mammals of the Boreal Forest

Learn all about some the larger & smaller mammals of the Boreal Forest & feel free to ask questions about Alberta Parks camping & recreation opportunities.
Plus: Cheer on athletes competing in the Alberta Ski & Wake Association’s competition on Beaver Lake, as the spectator area is Beaver Lake PRA — Campground Beach!
All Alberta Parks programming is on a drop-in basis and for park visitors of ALL AGES. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
