Join the Park Interpreters and learn about the freshwater habitat of Beaver Lake in the Park and the incredible habitat it creates within the ecosystem. Discover why a healthy lake matters and how watersheds impact the lakes and rivers across regions.
Try your hand at dipping for aquatic species and minnows and see if you can identify them.
Plus, learn some key water safety tips for recreating on the beach, as you paddle, or are boating on the lake this summer!
This is the last interpretive program at this location for the 2026 summer season. We look forward to seeing all that attend this program and welcome others looking for programming the following week to check out the schedule for Sir Winston Churchill Provincial Park!
Tickets / Registration
This Alberta Parks program if offered on a drop-in basis and for park visitors of All ages. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
