Find the Park Interpreters at a booth at the weekly held Lac La Biche Farmer’s Market just outside the community of Lac La Biche. Learn how bears are beginning to prepare as autumn nears as they munch all the abundant berries of the Boreal Forest. Feel free to ask questions about Alberta Parks camping & recreation opportunities.
Boreal Forest Trees & Plants themed Art in the Park

Join the Park Interpreters and learn about the eco regions of Alberta, and the amazing boreal forest that the Park is part of. Discover how to measure a tree to see how old it is, learn some differences between trees & plants, and explore the many uses of trees & plants by humans and creatures of the boreal forest.
Plus: Create a keepsake to capture your visit to Beaver Lake Provincial Recreation Area or favourite part of the program.
All Alberta Parks interpretive family programming is on a drop-in basis and for park visitors of ALL AGES. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
