On the banks of the crystal clear Highwood River, Strawberry Provincial Recreation Area offers spacious campsites with equestrian users in mind. There are hitching posts and loading ramps in the campground, and easy access to trails in the vicinity.
Hwy. 40 west of Peter Lougheed Provincial Park to Highwood House is closed annually from Dec. 1 to June 14.
