Seniors Social Nordic Ski

A Kananaskis Conservation Pass is required to park your vehicle in Kananaskis and the Bow Valley. Ice Safety: Alberta Parks does not monitor ice conditions; learn how to assess them for yourself.

Join us on a guided Nordic experience on groomed trails in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park from 1:00pm - 3:00pm. A certified Nordic instructor will be leading this experience but will not offer any formal instruction to the group. Hot chocolate is provided.

What to Wear: ski jacket & pants, gloves, hat/toque, sunglasses, and warm layers of clothing.

What to Bring: non-adaptive Nordic equipment (skis, boots, and poles), water bottle, sunscreen, nut-free snacks and/or lunch. May vary depending on weather.

Adaptive Nordic ski equipment can be provided if needed. 

Register a minimum of 7 days in advance of the date you wish to attend. The deposit is to ensure attendance and will be returned to you in full or in the form of a Gift Certificate for use on a future RMA program
