Description	Kananaskis Country Environmental Educators will come to your school to Inspire teachers to incorporate environmental education techniques into your programs of study Present a simple and effective model to help bring environmental education elements into classrooms Profile personal, group and community activities that enhance work you’re already doing Present games and strategies that can easily be facilitated in your schoolyard Provide an excellent team-building exercise for staff

Visit potential field trip sites with an Environmental Education specialist as they profile curriculum specific activities while showcasing Alberta Park resources to support your field study. Topics include (but are not limited to): Lifecycles, Plants, Wetlands, Weather, Trees & Forests, Planet Earth, Interactions & Ecosystems, Water, Population Change.

Description	Are you new to teaching environmental and outdoor education? Do you want to get your students outside but you’re nervous about Wildlife? Avalanches? Appropriate and accessible trails? Visit potential field trip sites with an Environmental Education specialist as they tailor activities and training to meet your safety training needs. Games, activities and resources to promote safety and fun into your outdoor field trip with students will be also be profiled. Topics include (but are not limited to): Bear Safety, Snow Science & Safety, Snow shoeing, Interpretive Hikes.

I Wonder Walks: an Inquiry Approach to Learning
Description	Building upon participants’ natural curiosity, this workshop will utilize Alberta Park’s authentic learning landscape to engage participants in an inquiry approach to learning. A framework for incorporating “I Wonder Walks” will add structure, function and intention to your nature explorations. Pedagogy models and nature connection philosophies will be overlaid to provide your administration and parents with the structure, intention, and rich learning outcomes they require.

A Changing Climate: an Inquiry in Alberta Parks
Description	Utilizing Alberta Park’s authentic learning landscape, we’ll explore one possible framework for incorporating climate literacy into your teaching. A variety of cross-curricular activities, games and stories will be showcased that will provoke, build knowledge and support active citizenship and stewardship in you and the students you work with.
