A Kananaskis Conservation Pass is required to park your vehicle in Kananaskis and the Bow Valley.

This field study examines the amazing geological history of Kananaskis Country. Traveling by bus from Barrier Lake to Lower Kananaskis Lake, students will explore 4 different stops. Each stop represents one chapter in the geology of the Rocky Mountains: deposition, rock formation, mountain building and erosion.
