A Kananaskis Conservation Pass is required to park your vehicle in Kananaskis and the Bow Valley.
Ice Safety: Alberta Parks does not monitor ice conditions; learn how to assess them for yourself.

  • Through interactive games and snow studies, students learn
    • How plants and animals are adapted to survive winter in the mountains.
    • To recognize animal tracks and signs
    • Feel comfortable travelling on snowshoes
  • Snowshoes are NOT provided for this program.
