A Sense of Place

Read our COVID-19 guidelines by clicking this banner before visiting one of our parks. We are monitoring our operations to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and this page is updated as adjustments are made.

Students will explore the inquiry question, “How do the Rocky Mountains affect life in Alberta?”. They will explore a variety of perspectives including aboriginal, mining, geological and wildlife while reflecting on their personal viewpoints. Through interactive games, role-playing exercises and discussions, we’ll piece together Alberta’s natural regions and come up with our very own “sense of place”.
