This is a steep trail (old road) to Elbow Lake and the Elbow Lake Backcountry Campground. Beyond Elbow Lake, the trail connects to the Big Elbow Trail. The trail provide access to excellent biking trails in eastern Kananaskis Country. Elbow Lake is the only trail in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park that allows equestrian use. Watch for horses on the trail.
