A Kananaskis Conservation Pass is required to park your vehicle in Kananaskis and the Bow Valley

Where: Kananaskis Country , Kananaskis Public Land Use Zone, Lusk Pass Parking Area, Jumpingpound Summit Parking Area, Prairie Creek Parking Area, Powderface Ridge North Parking Area, Powderface Ridge South Parking Area
Details: Parking areas along Powderface Road will be temporarily closed for construction. All trails outside the closure areas will remain open. The following designated trails will remain accessible by travelling around the fenced closure areas: Lusk Pass, Jumpingpound Ridge – Lusk Climb, Jumpingpound Summit, Prairie Creek, Powderface Creek, and Powderface Ridge. Expect increased industrial traffic on Powderface Road, and please obey all posted signage.
Follow the direction of all signage and personnel in the area and stay out of active construction zones.

Where: Bow Valley Wildland Provincial Park , Cloudline Trail , Highline Trail
Details: Due to ongoing construction of the Bow Valley Community Fire Guard, the Cloudline Trail, Highline Trail from the East Connector junction (at the east end of Peaks of Grassi community) to the Cloudline Trail, and all surrounding areas will be closed. The East Connector Trail to the Highline and the Highline heading west from this junction remain OPEN. The access to Middle Sister route is unaffected.Map of Affected Area
The northwest end of this machine built trail connects with Highline East Connector near Three Sisters Creek.
Often under the cover of dense conifer forest, the trail gains elevation through a series of switchbacks before levelling off along the top of a long escarpment offering numerous opportunities to view Canmore and the Bow Valley below.
As you continue southeast, the trail twists and turns along the steep lower slopes of Little Sister Mountain crossing several bridges and providing views of creeks, waterfalls and the mossy forest undergrowth.
As the trail approaches the southeast end, it descends through an extensive series of rolls and turns before reaching Stewart Creek and exiting onto Middle Sister Access Trail.
