Environment and Parks is looking to fill three permanent Visitor Information Centre Supervisor positions for Kananaskis Visitor Information Centre, Elbow Visitor Information Centre, and Peter Lougheed Parks Discovery Centre in the Kananaskis Region.
As a Visitor Information Centre Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing facility operations, retail sales, staff supervision, and the delivery of public information services at one of three regional visitor information centres (VICs) in Kananaskis Region. You will lead the recruitment and training of a team of Information Officers to ensure the delivery of frontline services and a wide range of information to the public through face-to-face and digital platforms, to promote awareness of public safety and recreational information, and provide a high level of visitor satisfaction to visitors in the region.
The ideal candidate would have strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), and possess an understanding of the landscapes, ecology, experiences and public use of parks in the Kananaskis Region.
