Details:Visitor Centre building closed due to accessibility upgrades.
Elbow Valley Visitor Information Centre will be closed to the public beginning on September 11 to facilitate construction of several building upgrades to enhance accessibility for visitors. During this time, members of the public will not be able to access the Information Centre or the washrooms, and retail sales – including the Kananaskis Conservation Pass – will be unavailable. Visitors requiring a Conservation Pass may purchase one themselves online or in-person at Kananaskis Visitor Information Centre or Peter Lougheed Parks Discovery Centre (until October 13).
The vault toilets in the day use area will remain open for public use. Public WiFi will remain available in the parking lot, and there will also be an information trailer staffed daily from 8 am to 6 pm to provide visitor information.
Follow the direction of all signage and personnel in the area and stay out of active construction zones.
