Art In The Park - Indefinite Arts Society: Nature’s Niche Reception

Indefinite Arts is a non-profit visual arts centre where artists with developmental disabilities come together to create, exhibit and sell artwork. Since its beginnings in 1975, Indefinite Arts has continually been a leader and innovator in Calgary’s art and disability sectors, playing a significant role in supporting artists with disabilities, promoting their artwork and advocating for inclusion within contemporary art practice.

Today, more than 165 adult artists with developmental disabilities come through Indefinite Arts Monday through Thursday to use dynamic, multimedia studios. For these individuals, the visual arts present opportunities to achieve personal and professional goals by fostering self-expression, communication and independence.

United by a shared desire to connect and collaborate, Indefinite Arts’ artists, members and volunteers are committed to building a vibrant, cultural community with a richer social fabric and a strengthened disability arts scene.

To purchase any of the Indefinite Arts Society artwork on  display please contact Heather Jones at 403-253-3174 or Heather.Jones@indefinitearts.com.

We celebrate the opening of Nature's Niche Art Show in Fish Creek Provincial Park during this afternoon, drop-in reception. Join us for light refreshments and the opportunity to meet the artists of this dynamic exhibit!
