The Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park is proud to host the BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon 2024 Canmore.
The event is spread over four days of competition, March 14 - 17, 2024:
Come on over and cheer for the best biathletes in the world with about 200 athletes attending from 25 nations.

No Public Parking on Race Days
Throughout the World Cup (March 11 - 17) parking is extremely limited at the Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park and access will be based on availability, time of day and the discretion of event security staff. We strongly encourage volunteers, spectators, and the general public to walk, ride, or take the free shuttle transportation (available Mar 14-17) to the venue.
During the weekend of March 16 - 17 we expect there to be no available parking and advise members of the public arriving before 5 p.m. to use the events shuttle transportation or, walk to the venue to avoid disappointment from being turned around at the venue. Free Shuttle Service
Free Shuttle Service will be offered on race days March 14-17. The shuttle buses will depart from downtown Canmore for the Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park every 10 minutes during the two hours before a competition. Buses will return to downtown Canmore from the Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park every 10 minutes during the two hours after a competition.
The exact location of the downtown pickup is not yet known so, please check back closer to the event date.

Specific Closures in place from March 9-18, 2024:
Created by the Town of Canmore, an Art Walk has been installed on the trail from downtown Canmore to the Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park. The trail is a ~3.5km loop and features 7 art installations from local artists, commissioned for the two World Cup events held in Canmore this winter. The theme of the 2023 Art Walk is “We Welcome the World.” We hope you enjoy the trail enroute to the races!

Take in the action along the tracks in the free cheering zones. Adjacent to the stadium and range, watch every competition as part of Canmore's loudest and most enthusiastic fans! Come and join us as we line the course to cheer on the world-class athletes. You do not need a physical ticket to access this area, just follow the event signage to the General Admission viewing area.
Provides entry into the spectator stands perched above the stadium. These seats provide a great view of the finish area, stadium, and range. You will pick up your wristband for entry at the check-in tent near the New Biathlon Building.
Experience the NEW biathlon building and the best view at the Canmore Nordic Centre. Light food and drink is included with your ticket, along with access to indoor and outdoor viewing areas. You will pick up your wristband for entry at the check-in tent near the New Biathlon Building.
