A Kananaskis Conservation Pass is required to park your vehicle in Kananaskis and the Bow Valley.

This pretty campground is found in Bow Valley Provincial Park, about 5 km east of Canmore on Hwy. 1. Upgrades in spring 2017 added 20 campsites. The majority of the campsites are now serviced with power. The campground is next to the Bow River, offering pleasant views. There are many activities available in this area, including hiking, biking, fishing, and paddling.

  • Water is available from a hand pump and a water tap near the tenting area at this site. Although Alberta Parks strives to maintain water quality, we recommend that you bring your own drinking water.
