The Narrows Campground

This scenic campground is first come first serve only and is built along a narrow channel connecting two portions of Buffalo Lake. Sites are RV and tent-friendly and surrounded by trees. The channel offers good opportunities for shore fishing and is great for young anglers and paddlers. Enjoy wonderful bird watching opportunities.

    Camping  The Narrows Provincial Recreation Area is operated by the Summer Village of Rochon Sands under a lease agreement with the Province of Alberta.  Access to campground is closed from mid-October to early-May.

    Firewood  Firewood is available for purchase at the park during posted office hours ($7.50/bundle).

    Water  You are expected to bring your own water. Government of Alberta regulations require that water from pumps/taps like the one located here NOT be used for drinking, cooking or washing (including brushing teeth and washing dishes). Water from the pump/tap onsite can only be used for purposes like putting out a campfire.
