Where: Beaver Group Use , Deer Group Use , Magpie Group Use , Red Lodge Campground , Red Lodge Day Use

Please be advised that a construction project on the waste water treatment system is underway and is taking place North of the Magpie Group Use Area. Heavy equipment and a construction crew will be on site completing the work during the spring months. We are anticipating construction noise to be present during daytime hours while the construction is taking place. We apologize for the inconvenience.

The Government of Alberta is committed to ensuring all visitors have a safe experience in our parks, and all visitors are prohibited from going beyond the construction barriers set in place. Visitors will not be able to reserve Magpie Group Use Area during the 2026 season as a result of this project. 

Updates to this construction advisory will be posted throughout the duration of the project as construction progresses and project schedule details are finalized.

Follow the direction of all signage and personnel in the area and stay out of active construction zones.

For the 2026 operational season, we anticipate the showers and flush toilets being closed at Red Lodge Provincial Park. The closure is necessary to address issues with the waste water treatment system. 

Vault toilets are available throughout the campground.
