Details:The sani-dump station, showers, and flush toilets will be closed for the 2026 camping season to address issues with the waste water system. Vault toilets are available throughout the campground, and an alternative sani-dump is available in the town of Bowden. Potable water is expected to be available for the camping season, weather dependent. Updates will be provided when the water will be available.

Details:Please be advised that potable water is now available at Red Lodge Provincial Park from the water taps throughout the campground. Flush washrooms, showers and the sani-station will remain closed for the weekend.

Details:Please be advised that a construction project on the waste water treatment system is underway and is taking place North of the Magpie Group Use Area. Heavy equipment and a construction crew will be on site completing the work during the spring months. We are anticipating construction noise to be present during daytime hours while the construction is taking place. We apologize for the inconvenience.
The Government of Alberta is committed to ensuring all visitors have a safe experience in our parks, and all visitors are prohibited from going beyond the construction barriers set in place. Visitors will not be able to reserve Magpie Group Use Area during the 2026 season as a result of this project.
Updates to this construction advisory will be posted throughout the duration of the project as construction progresses and project schedule details are finalized.
Follow the direction of all signage and personnel in the area and stay out of active construction zones.
If you’re looking for a relaxed atmosphere without giving up the comforts of front country camping, Red Lodge Campground is the perfect choice. Mature trees provide excellent privacy for each site, most of which are spacious enough for trailers and RVs. For added comfort, power hookups are available in select loops.
Forgot something at home? The Red Lodge store has you covered. It’s a favourite stop for kids to grab an ice cream on a hot summer day. When water levels are safe, the Little Red Deer River is a popular hub for splashing around or fishing for Northern Pike and Mountain Whitefish.
