Secrets of the Kootenay Plains: A Geology & Wildflower Guided Hike

What is it that make the Kootenay Plains so special? Come join our interpreter for an hour guided walk in the Kootenay Plains and help identify the plants, birds, and geological features that make this one of the most unique ecosystems in the Rocky Mountains. This walk includes some steep grades and stairs. Sturdy walking shoes, walking poles, water, sunscreen, a camera, and an eye for detail are recommended.

  • Program starts at: 2:30 PM

You will need to sign a waiver on-site.
