      • Potable water will no longer be provided at Dry Island Buffalo Jump day use area.
      • Washroom facilities will still be accessible.

  • Partial Closure - Dry Island Buffalo Jump Provincial Park - Campgrounds Closed

      March 2, 2020

      Dry Island Buffalo Jump Provincial Park Campgrounds (Tolman East and Tolman West). This closure is part of the changes to the Alberta Parks system that will allow government to focus its energy on renowned signature destinations and examine opportunities for other groups to operate smaller parks and day-use areas. 

      • While the Tolman campgrounds and washroom buildings are closed, access to the river through Tolman WEST is still possible at these sites.

  • Road Closure - Unsafe Road Access

      December 12, 2019

      Due to winter conditions and poor driving conditions, the access road leading to Dry Island Buffalo Jump day use area has been closed for the season.

      Walking down is still prohibited, but driving is no longer safe.
