This is an open, sandy area with a trail running alongside the Natural Play Area. The play area includes mountain bike jumps, slides and fort-building materials. The sandpit is all that remains of ancient sand dunes that once covered Crimson Lake. Trailheads are located Campground Loops D and F. The trail can also be accessed from Amerada Trail.s
