Plant Growth

    This field study introduces students to a variety of plants in the Beaver Hills. Through a series of hands-on investigations, students:

    • describe and classify common plants;
    • investigate variations in growing conditions;
    • discover the different forms and functions of leaves, stems and roots; and
    • explore the importance of plants to the natural environment.
