Living Life-Cycles

Whether it’s a swimming tadpole transforming into a leaping frog or a tiny seed growing into a towering tree, nature is full of incredible life cycles. Students will explore the stages of life of our local forest and wetland species, learning how each phase plays a vital role in the ecosystem and how human actions can make a difference.

Through movement, observation, and play, students will connect with nature’s rhythms and discover the magic of growth and change.

      Students will:

      • Act out life cycle stages through games
      • Match baby animals with their adult forms
      • Identify and arrange life cycle stages of plants and animals
      • Dip into the wetland to observe aquatic creatures up close
