Whether you’re looking to do some kayaking, canoeing, or fishing on Buck Lake, Calhoun Bay is a nice spot to access the water. While there is no boat launch, there is a spot on the shore that visitors can use to hand launch canoes and kayaks, and there are spots along the shoreline for casting. There are limited amenities available, which include vault toilets and hand pumps with non-potable water. Please ensure you bring your own firewood and drinking water.
