The shorelines of the reservoir and the open surrounding grassy landscape with gently rolling hills is ideal for bird watchers. There are no toilets, firepits or picnic tables provided.

Off-season access to the park depends on snow conditions as there is no snow removal at this park; foot access is recommended.
