Bear Closure - Bears in Area

May 21, 2017

Bears are frequenting the area around Beaver Creek Day use.  This is a natural feeding activity that occurs during high water years. Please respect closure and keep your distance.  Bears naturally feed on fish and fish remains.  Fisherman please dispose of all fish entrails in proper fish disposal units; do not kill and leave suckers on lake shore (release sucker fish alive, they help keep the lake clean), Visitors are encouraged to learn to use and carry bear spray when enjoying outdoors in Bear Country.
