Alberta Forestry and Parks recently amended 18 park boundaries through orders-in-council. These amendments enhance recreation and camping opportunities for Albertans while protecting rare grasslands and addressing unresolved administrative issues and small site deregulations. The changes:
Collectively, these amendments add more than 1,400 hectares to Alberta’s provincial parks system, while removing approximately 50 hectares of land.
