Placement Information

Location: Tillebrook Campground (Tillebrook Provincial Park)
Ideal Placement Dates: Jul 4 - Sep 1

Tillebrook Campground is seeking a host or group of hosts (e.g. couple or family) for a single partial-season placement in the middle of the summer. Returning volunteers will be hosting at this site for the start of the season in the spring and again at the end of the season in the fall. Placement dates are flexible, but the ideal applicant would be able to start after the Canada Day long weekend. A partial-season placement requires a minimum commitment of four consecutive weeks.

WiFi is available at the campground booth only and does not extend to the site.

Responsibilities

In addition to the key responsibilities outlined in the volunteer host description, Hosts at Tillebrook have the following site-specific duties:

• Create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere in the park by regularly walking around the campground and engaging with campers.
• Assist visitors with campsite bookings by directing them to the booth or guiding them through the reservation website.
• Inform visitors where to purchase firewood.
• Monitor the shower building for cleanliness and vandalism and report any issues to staff.
