Location: Reesor Lake Campground (Cypress Hills Provincial Park)

Reesor Lake Campground is seeking a host or group of hosts (e.g. couple or family) for one of the following options: a single full-season placement, or a single partial-season placement. Placement dates are flexible. July and August are the months that most require host support. A partial-season placement requires a minimum commitment of four consecutive weeks.

This campground is located approximately 20 km from the Elkwater townsite. Cell service is typically available from Reesor viewpoint, approximately 6 km from the campground. Water services may be available by the May long weekend, depending on the weather, but are not guaranteed until June 1. Potable water, showers, and a dump station are available in the Elkwater townsite. Internet is available at the Visitor Centre and local businesses in the townsite.
In addition to the key responsibilities outlined in the volunteer host description, hosts at Reesor Lake have the following site-specific duties:
Reesor Lake Campground is mostly accessible by paved road, with a 1.1 km gravel section near the campground. The 7.6 km road between Reesor Lake and Battle Creek Campgrounds are mostly gravel. Staff visit these campgrounds several times a week but are not always on-site.
