Placement Information

Location: Lundbreck Falls Campground (Lundbreck Falls PRA)
Ideal Placement Dates: May 13 - Sep 17

Lundbreck Falls Campground is seeking a host or group of hosts (e.g. couple or family) for one of the following options: a single full-season placement, or a single partial-season placement. Placement dates are flexible. A partial-season placement requires a minimum commitment of four consecutive weeks.

Site Information

This site only has power. The closest dump station and access to potable water is approximately 8 km from the campground.

Responsibilities

In addition to the key responsibilities outlined in the volunteer host description, hosts at Lundbreck Falls have the following site-specific duties:

• Educate visitors on reserving campsites online or by phone and inform them where to find cell service to make a booking.
• Provide information on popular local destinations and common travel routes, including estimated distances and travel times.
• Stay informed about highway closures in the area to provide accurate information to visitors.
• Opportunity to assist with public interpretive programming with visitor engagement staff.

Additional Information

Lundbreck Falls is a very busy site with many campers staying only one or two nights as they pass through the area. hosts at this site are required to attend a district training session in early May, either in person or online.
