Location: Dinosaur Campground (Dinosaur Provincial Park)
Ideal Placement Dates: Jun 15 - Oct 31

Dinosaur Campground is seeking a host or group of hosts (e.g. couple or family) for two partial-season placements. Returning volunteers will be hosting in the spring for the start of the season and in the middle of the summer. Placement dates are flexible, but the ideal applicant would be available from either mid-June to mid-July or the end of August until Thanksgiving. A partial-season placement requires a minimum commitment of four consecutive weeks.

Cell reception is unreliable at the site, but limited reception is available in the park. WiFi is available at the Visitor Centre and some service may reach the site but it is not guaranteed in the campground. Coin laundry is available.

Additional Information

This placement requires hosts who are comfortable being physically active and who are heat tolerant. The park can get very warm (over 30°C) during the peak summer months. Days off are negotiable, with a preference for Sunday and Monday. Some volunteer responsibilities will take place during the evening.
