Lakeland Alberta Parks offers curriculum-aligned environmental education programs for Kindergarten to Grade 6. Programs are designed to support classroom learning through hands-on and outdoor experiences. Activities emphasize land-based learning and encourage student engagement through inquiry, exploration, and experiential learning. A detailed program guide is available for all In-Park Environmental Education programs. With advance notice, customized programs to meet specific outcomes and goals may be possible, pending staff capacity.

There’s no such thing as bad weather—only bad clothing! Please ensure students are dressed appropriately for the outdoors. Our team is unlikely to cancel a program unless weather or air advisories pose a safety risk. If a field trip is cancelled by the school or teacher, rescheduling may not be possible due to limited availability.
