Recreation Notes

Cross-country skiing: undulating terrain provides good variety for skiers; 20 km groomed trails attract novice to advanced skiers; the park hosts several ski events each year.

Fishing: in the river and in the park's trout pond.

Hiking: trails in this park provide views of scenic levees, marshes and oxbow lakes in the Vermilion River valley.

Mountain biking/cycling: approximately 5 km of paved trails for biking and rollerblading.
