Recreation Notes

Hiking: 6.3 km unmaintained trails.

Horseback riding: informal equestrian trails in the vicinity.

Power boating: 12 km/h speed limit on south lake; power vessels prohibited on north lake.

Wildlife viewing: summer and winter elk range; black and grizzly bears wander around the lake shore in spring and summer looking for fish; in fall, bears in the area feed on berry crops; osprey and loons nest in the area.
