Natural Region DescriptionSundance Provincial Park preserves a diverse landscape of moist old-growth forest, spectacular sandstone cliffs, steep valleys, hoodoos and a wetland complex. Sundance Hoodoos are designated a provincially significant feature. Twelve species of orchids and five species of carnivorous plants have been found in the park's marl bogs. Emerson Lakes, located within the park, is a beautiful chain of five lakes joined by hiking trails.
