Recreation Notes

To prevent 4-wheel drive and off-highway vehicle access onto the Simonette River from Simonette River Provincial Recreation Area, the boat launch has been been closed. Boaters are asked to call the Alberta Parks office in Grande Prairie at 780-538-5350 to arrange access to the launch. We will make every effort to accommodate such requests in a timely manner.

Off-highway vehicle use is prohibited within Simonette River Provincial Recreation Area, which includes the bed and shore of the river.
