Recreation Notes

Birding: the loons, swans, sandhill cranes and countless other species in wetlands, along trails and on the lake itself make this park a great place for birding.

Cross-country skiing: 7 km of ungroomed trails.

Power boating: 12 km/h speed limit on Outpost Lake.

Fishing: April 1-October 31 - trout limit 1 over 50 cm; pike limit 3 (no size limit); bait ban. November 1-March 31 - closed.
