Prohibited: The use of all wood, briquette and propane/natural gas fires and campfires; this includes fires contained in designated fire facilities.
Permitted: Gas/propane stoves and BBQ's, when approved for cooking.
Liquor Ban In Effect: May. 16 - May. 20, 2013
There will be a temporary liquor ban in Pigeon Lake Provincial Park from 12:00 noon on Thursday May 16, 2013 until 6:00 p.m. on Monday May 20, 2013. The ban applies to all campgrounds and group campgrounds within the park. The ban prohibits possession and consumption of liquor.
Notice: Pigeon Lake Village is located just 15 minutes southeast of the park. It offers several services including a full size grocery store, restaurant, laundromat, pharmacy and gas station/convenience store. For more information, visit the Pigeon Lake website.
Cross-country skiing: groomed and ungroomed trails.
Snowmobiling: Snowmobile access is to the lake only. Snowmobiling is NOT permitted elsewhere in the park. Snowmobile staging is permitted from the boat launch parking lots.
Golfing: There are 7 golf courses in the area. The nearest golf course is 2 km from the park. Mini golf is offered at nearby Pigeon Lake Village.
