This pretty campground is found in Bow Valley Provincial Park, about 5 km east of Canmore on Hwy. 1. Upgrades in 2017 will add an additional 37 campsites, the majority of which are serviced RV sites and a few designed for walk-in tenting. A comfort camping station with running water, power, and sewer will also be added to the campground making it accessible and available to more Albertans. The campground is next to the Bow River, offering pleasant views. There are many activities available in this area, including hiking, biking, fishing, and paddling.
