This scenic campground is first come first serve only and is built along a narrow channel connecting two portions of Buffalo Lake. Sites are RV and tent-friendly and surrounded by trees. The channel offers good opportunities for shore fishing and is great for young anglers and paddlers. Enjoy wonderful bird watching opportunities.
12 km west of Stettler on Hwy 12, 10 km north on Hwy. 835, 11 km west on Hwy. 601 & 5 km north on access road

- Permitted activities may vary within a park. Please confirm details with park staff.
- Fishing: There are 5 fishing nodes along the water channel. Shoreline fishing is excellent, ideal for young anglers (catch and release only).
- Birding : Take advantage of bird watching opportunities in the shoreline reeds along the channel flowing into Buffalo Lake.
- Wildflowers: Enjoy yellow lady’s slipper orchids that grow in the back section of the campground. They bloom in late May and early June. Never pick rare plants like these; take a picture instead.
