Notice: Personal Property: All personal property left in Otter-Orloff Lakes Wildland Park after July 15, 2013 will be considered abandoned. This includes boats, trailers, camping equipment, tents and home-made structures. Property that is not removed by July 15, 2013 will be seized and removed by Alberta Parks. Questions or concerns may be directed to the Athabasca office of Alberta Parks at 780-675-8213. Access: the "road" to Orloff Lake only goes a portion of the way into the lake. In dry weather this road is good but does dead end near Rock Island Forestry Tower. When the road is wet it can be very slick and muddy. The remaining trail going into Orloff Lake is approximately 4 km and is accessible by ATV or foot only. This trail can be in very poor condition when wet; in dry conditions it is only a fair trail at best (lots of mud holes & trail braiding). Only the last 400 meters of this trail is within the park; there has been no trail maintenance.
** Facilities and services provided and activities permitted may vary within a park. Please check the details on the specific campground, day use area, group use area or trail to confirm what is available and/or permitted.
Camping: random backcountry camping only - there are no developed facilities in the park.
OHV riding: on existing trails only - off-trail use prohibited.
