Recreation Notes

Hiking: pathway through willows and cottonwoods along the river provides welcome shade during the heat of summer.

Interpretive programs: interpretive display at old mine office; as well, the Royal Tyrrell Museum, located in the park, contains the most extensive display of dinosaur fossils in world; window into preparation lab; phone 403-823-7707.
