Kananaskis in the Classroom

"Broadway in the Bushes"… coming to a school near you! Kananaskis in the Classroom brings parks to schools throughout the Calgary area. We sow the seeds of environmental stewardship with theatrical presentations and classroom sessions.

Each program begins with a 50-minute musical theatre presentation. This high-energy, educational and fun show is for for the entire school to enjoy.
- Presentations feature original music, exciting characters, curriculum-driven scripts and audience participation.
All programs include 4 additional 45-minute small group sessions.
- Each session is limited to one class or 25 students. This promotes deeper discovery of the topic through natural history props, activities and hands-on exploration.
