  • Located at 15979 Bow Bottom Trail SE (Bow Valley Ranch Area Day Use)

  • There is a large parking lot close to the Bow Valley Ranch Visitor Centre.  Do not leave valuables in your vehicle.
  • The closest picnic area with tables and firepits is Hulls Wood, a 15-minute walk south.  Take your own firewood, roasting sticks and a bucket for water to extinguish your fire.
  • Fish Creek and its riverine forest are a five-minute walk south of the Visitor Centre. Access to the creek is via a paved pathway.  Snow is not removed from the pathway during winter.
  • The historic Bow Valley Ranch house, bunkhouse and cookhouse add interest to the site.  There is no public access to the interiors of these structures.
