Interpretive Programs

Dinosaur Provincial Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Most of the park is a natural preserve.  To protect the natural preserve and to ensure public safety, access is ONLY by guided interpretive programs.  See our listing of tour programs below.

We have a variety of interpretive programs for all ages, both outdoor and indoor, some strenuous and others easy, less than one hour to multi-day.

  • Bus tours - provide you with stunning views of the Natural Preserve from our safe and comfortable tour bus.  Participate in fun activities on scheduled off-the-bus stops.
  • Family programs - are fun learning experiences appropriate for a variety of ages.  They vary in tone and in their blend of science and fun.  The indoor programs are a great way to escape the heat of the badlands.
  • Enriched learning programs - enable you to experience the park at a deeper level, in a small group.
  • Guided hikes  - are fantastic opportunities to experience the park's landscape, wildlife and fossils.

Book interpretive programs online or by phone.  We strongly recommend that you reserve tickets in advance.

Check trip tips for other planning tips.

We can create custom tour packages for commercial tour operators or other groups of people.
