Natural Region	Boreal Forest - Central Mixedwood
Natural Region Description	This park includes most of the forest communities that are common to the central mixedwood sub-region of the Boreal Forest Natural Region. Park trails provide access to many of these communities. Park visitors can explore Cross Lake's quiet bays and shallows in canoes and might be lucky enough to spot a nesting bald eagle or osprey. The park's information line is open Monday to Friday from 8:15 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. only.
