Natural Region Description	This park is located at the junction of Big Knife Creek and the Battle River in an area that was once important to the Plains Indians. It was also the home of 'One-eyed' Nelson, who had a moonshine operation at the site many years ago. The Battle River, which winds through the park, is ideal for boating.
