Summer

  • Take a leisurely boat trip around the lake. Please respect any seasonal closures that are in place.  The  boat launch is located near the campground.
  • Beauvais Lake is stocked with brown and rainbow trout for your fishing enjoyment.  Check Alberta Guide to Sportfishing Regulations for info on licenses and restrictions.
  • Bird watching is exceptional in the park and wetlands. You may also see a variety of other animals that are attracted here by the diversity of plant life in the area.
  • Take advantage of over 18 kilometres of hiking trails that wind through the park.

Winter

  • Beauvais Lake is a popular winter fishing destination.
  • When snow conditions and weather permitting, you can cross-country ski or snowshoe on our trails.  Access to the trails is from the playground in the campground and at Beaver Creek Day-Use Area.
  • Try winter picnicking.  There are warm-up shelters and fire pits in our day use areas.
  • Tent camping at the walk-in campsites is available in  winter subject to suitable weather and road conditions.  There are no services available in winter.
